The ITAB’s aim is to ensure that all those working in the Utilities and Electrotechnology industry in NSW have relevant nationally recognised AQTF qualifications. The ITAB does this by:

• Providing information to NSW DET about training in utilities and electrotechnology including identifying areas of needs
• Promoting careers in the industry
• Providing advice to industry and government about qualifications and training for utilities and electrotechnology
• Assisting industry to implement and deliver training
• Working closely with the national Industry Skills Councils, EE-Oz Training Standards and
• Government Skills Australia
