Project Summary

EE-Oz Training Standards has been awarded funding by DEST for the ‘Revision of Breakthrough Resources’ and has subcontracted the NSW U&E ITAB to manage the project. The ‘Revision of Breakthrough Resources’ project is part of a broader industry lead strategy to develop a new traineeship in the Energy Utilities Sector. As part of the strategy, WELL funding has been granted from Department of Education Science and Training (DEST) to assist the trainee with workplace English Language and Literacy Skills. The project will be piloted with Country Energy in Dubbo.

The WELL project aims to trail and customise existing ‘Breakthrough’ Language Literacy Numeracy Material Developed by EE-OZ through a pilot. A mentor with WELL background will be assigned to the trainees to develop their skills and adjusting the resources available.
