Training Services NSW has issued notification on 11th October 2019, in the Commissioner’s Information Bulletin (CIB) 572, that two traineeship Vocational Training Orders (VTOs) were varied to reduce the number of minimum days of on-the-job training in the school based pathways to 120 days. An additional VTO was created for a school-based traineeship pathway, in electronics.

The NSW UE ITAB recommended that a Trainee completing the Certificate and being issued a qualification may gain six months advance standing in a related Certificate III Electrotechnology apprenticeship.

The UEE11 v1.5 – Electrotechnology Training Package was endorsed in March 2012.

School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs) allow senior high school students to enter into a training contract that will contribute to the achievement of their Higher School Certificate. For more information visit: SBAT Information
